August Coho in Whale Pass

The first week of August, finds plenty of fish still coming in.  We have had the honor this week of hosting a group of guys, one of which is Art Leblanc, who this week was celebrating 28 years in the United States Marine Corp.  Art is a prime example of an American hero.  Just spending a few days with him, has been a blessing for the whole group.  We have been honored to share in this time with these friends. Along with such a notable milestone, Art’s stay at the lodge this week has allowed his first opportunity for salmon on the fly.  Celebrating tonight with some Naukati Bay oysters….. Life is good.

Catch up next week.
